In May 2015, I was commissioned by the Greater Augusta Arts Council in Augusta, Georgia, to paint murals on two traffic control boxes.
Each design was directly tied to the city; one of the boxes featured a kayaking trip down the Savannah River and the historic Augusta Canal. The other box featured some flora found in Augusta. Both designs centered around nature, and my mission was to encourage viewers to explore Augusta and its beautiful outdoors.
Working with the Arts Council was a great experience! It was wonderful to be able to share my art with the city in which I was born and raised.
